Yallingup's name is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "place of love". The town came into being in 1899 through the discovery of Ngili Caves by Edward Dawson. He led visitors through the caves until 1937.
The area enjoys a moderate-Mediterranean climate with warm summers and cool, wet winters. Ocean swells attract keen surfers and its wineries, breweries and restaurants appeal to everyone.

Guests enjoy specially prepared meals in front of an open fire or on a private deck. Ingredients are sourced from local growers and excellent wines of the region are recommended accompaniments.
